Daniela Poletti
Since she was a child, Daniela Poletti, born in Piedmont (Northern Italy), has been fascinated by craftsmanship, but dedicates her early studies to pedagogy. After her second child was born, she rediscovers her love for arts and crafts.
She then decides to fully dedicate herself to the art of glass: she attends different courses about glass fusing, held in Milan by German and American masters, specialising in artisanal craftsmanship techniques. In the early 1990’s, her first experimentations, full of creativity and inventiveness, give birth to a series of glass flowers and glass cactuses, which gets an instant success.

From this moment on, it is a continuous crescendo. Just a few months later, she gets the opportunity of exhibiting her first works at the “Salone del Mobile” in Milan. And so, in 1992, the adventure of Vetrofuso had officially started.
In the 30 years since its foundation, Vetrofuso has proudly served a range of international high profile brands and distributors, retail stores, wedding planners, hotels, restaurants and starred chefs, as well as famous fashion designers with its Jewelry collection, exporting not only its name, but the whole concept of “Made in Italy” across the world.
Always present in the luxurious Paris exhibition of Maison & Object, for more than 40 editions, Vetrofuso has also participated in the “Saloni WorldWide” in Moscow, “Downtown Design” in Dubai, in the launch events of M&O Asia and M&O Americas and many other events.
